Configuring Payment Settings and Membership Criteria

In this guide, we will walk through the steps to configure payment settings and membership criteria.

Payment Settings

We have multiple settings in payments. Follow the steps below to configure them:

1. Custom Payment Mode

  • You can create a custom payment mode.

  • Enable or disable the "Pay Later" setting.

  • Note: Disabling "Pay Later" will prevent you from charging partial amounts, which is generally required for partial payments.

Membership Cancellation Criteria

There are three settings for membership or subscription cancellations:

1. Cancel Membership Immediately if Payment Fails

  • This setting cancels the membership as soon as the payment fails.

  • Important: On Stripe, you need to change the subscription status to "leave the subscription as is" to prevent Stripe from canceling it automatically.

2. Cancel Membership After a Certain Number of Payment Failures

  • This setting cancels the membership after multiple payment failures have occurred.

3. Suspend Membership After Payment Failure and Cancel After Certain Days

  • This setting suspends the membership after a payment failure, preventing the member from booking classes.

  • The membership will be canceled after a specified number of days, giving you time to charge them at your end.

Enrollment Fee

Define who is eligible for the enrollment fee:

  • New customers

  • Existing customers

For existing customers, this setting applies to those who have purchased something in the past but are returning after a period (e.g., 24 months). Ensure they are charged the enrollment fee.

Global Trial Pack Setting

This setting allows you to restrict clients from buying multiple trial packs if you have created multiple trial packs.
