Class Booking and Attendance Settings

In this video, we will see how to configure booking and attendance settings for classes. We will cover various settings related to booking and attendance to ensure a smooth experience for both the studio and the customers.

Booking Settings

  • Remaining Slots: Decide whether you want the remaining slots to be shown on the app and the website.

  • Booking Window: Determine when the bookings open. This is a rolling window, so bookings can open 60 days before the class starts. You can set it up as per your preference. This setting is applicable for all classes and updates on the customer end immediately.

Attendance Settings

  • Auto-Submit Attendance: Set when you want the attendance to be submitted automatically. Ensure you check in your customers before this time.

  • Book for Someone Else: Toggle this option on or off to allow or disallow booking for someone else. If toggled off, it will not show up anywhere.

Waitlist Settings

  • Waitlist Type: Choose the type of waitlist you want:

    • Inform everyone when a spot becomes free.

    • Automatically book the first person on the waitlist until three hours before the class starts, and after that, inform everyone on the waitlist when a spot becomes free.

  • Maximum Waiting Spots: Set the maximum number of waiting spots.

  • Refund Policy: Decide whether to refund the customer immediately after the class ends or later.

  • Waitlist Number Visibility: Enable this setting to allow people to see their waitlist number. If disabled, they will only know they are on the waitlist without knowing their specific number.

Late Cancellation Forgiveness

Set up a policy to forgive late cancellations as a good customer service practice. You can configure it so that no cancellation fee is charged for the first late cancellation of the calendar year. This will be tagged as automatically forgiven.
