The Google Review Journey Template is designed to help studios collect more Google reviews from members. Google reviews play a crucial role in improving local search rankings, building trust with leads, and making it easier for potential clients to discover your studio.

Getting Started: Creating a Google Review Journey

To begin, click on New Journey and select the Get Google Reviews Template from the list of available templates.

This journey is designed to identify and request reviews from members who are most likely to leave positive feedback, such as:

  • First-time visitors who have recently experienced the studio.

  • Recent visitors (past 14 days) who are still actively engaged.

  • Regular members (5+ visits) who already love the studio.

Each segment is carefully selected to maximize the likelihood of receiving high-quality reviews.

Customizing rule blocks for review requests

To personalize review request targeting:

  • Click on the rule block to edit it.

  • Adjust the filters to target specific member segments.

  • Exclude members who have already left a review by adding a filter for review tags (See ‘Prevent duplicate review requests with tags’ below).

  • Save the changes to ensure the right audience is included in the journey.

Once set, the journey will automatically send review requests to these targeted members at the right time.

Creating an effective review request email

Personalizing the review request email increases the chances of members leaving a review.

To edit email communications:

  • Click the overflow icon next to an email block and select Edit.

  • Modify the subject line to make it engaging.

  • Include branded images and instructor photos to add a personal touch.

  • Use warm colors and inviting fonts to align with the studio’s brand identity.

  • Ensure the review button is prominently displayed and linked to the Google review form.

Pro Tip:

A prominent review button makes it easier for members to leave a review, increasing click-through rates.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how you can edit your emails.

Prevent duplicate review requests with tags

To avoid repeatedly asking the same members for reviews, use tags:

  • Go to Settings → Customers and create a custom tag (e.g., “Reviewed on Google”).

  • In the journey editor, open the first rule block and add a filter to exclude members with the “Reviewed on Google” tag.

  • Save the changes to ensure previously reviewed members do not re-enter the journey.

Additionally, instruct the front desk team to tag members when they present their review confirmation screenshots to claim their reward.

Incorporating Multi-Channel Review Requests

While email is effective, push notifications and SMS can increase engagement:

  • SMS messages have an open rate of up to 90%, making them a valuable addition.

  • If SMS functionality is not enabled, contact your customer success manager at support@bookeeapp.com for assistance.

Launching the Google Review Journey

Before setting the journey live:

✔ Verify that all emails contain the correct Google review link.
✔ Ensure
buttons and URLs direct users to the correct pages.
✔ Double-check
filters to prevent duplicate review requests.

By automating Google review collection, this journey helps improve your studio’s online presence and strengthens your reputation.
