Setting Up Subscriptions or Credit Packs with Kenko

Introduction

Offering a membership that includes both classes and appointments can provide significant value to your customers. This approach offers flexibility, allowing customers to use a single plan to book both group classes and private appointments. This not only simplifies their experience but can also boost sales, as customers perceive greater value from a single purchase.

Steps to Set Up Multi-Service Memberships on Kenko

  1. Access the Booking Credits and Services Section

While creating the membership, scroll down to section 2 where you will find the booking credits and services section. Here, enable both classes and appointments under applicable services.

  2. Consider Pricing and Credit Allocation

It's important to note that appointments usually cost more than classes, so your credits and pricing need to reflect this. A recommended approach is to set different credit values for appointments versus classes. For example:

    • One class equals one credit.

    • One appointment equals three credits.

This can be defined while setting up classes and appointments. For instance, if a customer has a membership with 12 credits, they could use all 12 for classes or mix it up by booking two appointments and six classes.

  3. Set Up Classes and Appointments

Under classes, decide whether all classes can be booked using this membership or only select classes. For this example, let's choose all classes. You can apply the same selection criteria under appointments, choosing either all appointments or selected ones. Once you've made your selections, hit save.

  4. Finalize the Membership

Proceed to update the rest of the settings and create your membership.

Conclusion

Bundling classes and appointments can increase convenience and sales, but it's crucial to set pricing and credit allocation carefully. This ensures that services are valued fairly and your revenue is protected, while still providing customers with the flexibility they desire.
