Charge on First of the Month Feature

The "Charge on First of the Month" feature is designed to align all recurring subscription payments to a single calendar date, rather than spreading them across each customer's individual start date. This feature is beneficial for businesses that prefer a more predictable cash flow and easier bookkeeping.

• All payments are received on the same date, simplifying account reconciliation.

• Improves revenue forecasting and cash flow management.

• Provides customers with a consistent billing date each month, eliminating surprises.

How to Enable

To enable this feature, toggle it on under the Pricing section while creating a new subscription.

Billing Process

1. If a customer purchases a monthly subscription on September 15th, they will be charged a prorated amount for the remaining days of that month.

2. Starting October 1st, they will be billed the full subscription amount.

3. From that point onward, billing will always occur on the first of each month.

Important Notes

• The "Charge on First" feature is only available for subscriptions with monthly billing cycles.

• This option will not appear for subscriptions set to a weekly cycle.

• Once a subscription is created, this feature cannot be updated. It is recommended to choose the best option for your business before creating the subscription.
