In this video, we will cover how to set up courses and workshops and why you need them. Courses and workshops are unique events that occur only once. Courses can be purchased directly, and once a client purchases a course, they are booked into all instances or labeled series. Workshops can also be used for teacher trainings or retreats.
Choose a course group so that it displays correctly on your website. For example, if you are creating a course for teacher training (200 hours category), this is for filtering purposes. You can write your description manually or use AI.
Select whether it is an online or offline course. If it is a virtual course, you can add a Zoom link. Note that once you save this setting, you cannot change it back, so make sure you have thought this through.
Choose the instructor(s) for the course. You can select multiple instructors if needed.
Select the start and end dates for the course. Decide whether it is visible to customers so they can book and purchase it via the website and app.
If it is a featured course, it will appear on your app like a new tile. The color setting is just to differentiate it on the calendar.
The course schedule works similarly to class schedules. For example, you can set it to happen from 12 to 1 PM every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You can also add additional time slots, such as 6 PM to 7 PM on Mondays.
Define whether it is a one-time payment or if you want to allow customers to use a payment plan. Usually, payment plans charge a bit more. For example, you can set an initial payment of $100 and five installments of $200 each, charged every four days after the initial payment.
Note: If the course is completed before the payment plan is finished, you will get an error.
And voila! You have created a course in less than five minutes.
