How to edit a customer's gift card balance

There may be occasions when you need to manually adjust a customer's gift card balance. This could be due to adding a goodwill credit, correcting an error, or deducting an amount for a special charge. Follow these steps to update the balance:
Access the Global Search: Click on the global search option.
Find the Customer: Look up the customer by entering their details in the search bar.
Select Customer Profile: Once you find the customer, select their profile.
Navigate to Payments Tab: Head to the payments tab within the customer's profile.
Locate Gift Cards: Here, you'll see all the gift cards linked to that customer.
Edit Gift Card: Find the specific gift card you want to update and click on the edit option.
Adjust Balance: Adjust the balance amount by increasing or decreasing it based on what's needed.
Save Changes: Once you've made the necessary adjustments, click save.
And that's it! The customer's gift card balance is instantly updated and ready to use.
