When new leads start flowing into your system, organizing them properly becomes essential. Assigning lead stages helps you understand where each lead is in your sales pipeline, whether they're brand new, interested, or ready to convert. Similarly, assigning sources helps you track where your leads are coming from. This gives you clarity on what's working, what needs attention, and how to prioritize your follow-ups.
Head to General Settings.
Click on Leads.
In the first section, you'll see your existing lead stages.
To add a new stage:
Click Add Stage.
Type in the stage name.
Click Add Stage to confirm.
For stages you've already created, you can:
Click Edit to update them.
Click Delete to remove any you no longer need.
In the next section, you'll find your lead sources.
To add a new source:
Click Add Source.
Enter the source name.
Click Add Source.
You can also edit or delete any existing sources.
Once these are set up, every time a new lead enters your CRM, you can assign a stage and source to them. This helps you:
Prioritize follow-ups based on lead readiness.
Understand which marketing channels are driving the most leads.
Improve conversion rates by tracking lead movement.
Make data-driven decisions on where to invest your marketing efforts.
