How to add tips for instructor via POS

When selling anything through the Point of Sale (POS) system, customers may wish to leave a tip for their instructor. Adding a tip is a quick and easy process. Follow these steps to ensure the tip is recorded correctly:
Access the Point of Sale: Begin by heading to the POS system and selecting the customer who wishes to leave a tip.
Select the Custom Tab: Click on the 'Custom' tab within the POS interface.
Locate the Tip Section: In the custom tab, you will find the tip section.
Select the Staff Member: Choose the staff member (instructor) whom the customer wants to tip.
Enter the Tip Amount: Input the desired tip amount into the system.
Add the Tip: Click on 'Add Tip' to include the tip in the transaction.
Complete the Transaction: Once the tip is added, click 'Charge' to proceed.
Choose Payment Method: Select the customer's preferred payment method.
Finalize Payment: Complete the payment process as usual.
Once these steps are completed, the tip will automatically be recorded under the instructor's payroll. When you run payroll for the period, the tips will be available for review and approval before payout.
