How to Safely Delete a Facility in Kenko

Sometimes you may need to delete a facility in Kenko. This could be due to various reasons such as:

• The facility was created by mistake.

• The space is no longer in use.

• You've restructured your studio layout.

• You've renamed and replaced it with a new facility.

Whatever the reason, follow these steps to safely delete a facility:

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to Facilities: Head to the Facilities section in Kenko.

2. Edit the Facility: Click Edit against the facility you want to remove.

3. Delete the Facility: Click Delete under the facility name. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Yes, Delete.

4. Check for Linked Services: If the facility is still assigned to any of your services, you'll see an error message. For example, the facility might still be linked to an appointment.

5. Unlink the Facility from Services:

   • Go to Setup and then Appointment Services.

   • Find the appointment that still uses this facility, such as the Semi-Private Lesson.

   • Click Edit.

   • Head to the Facility dropdown, deselect the facility, and hit Save.

   • If needed, repeat this for any other services where the facility is still linked.

6. Delete the Facility Again: Once you're sure the facility is no longer tied to any service, head back to Facilities. Click Edit and hit Delete again. Confirm the deletion.

And that's it! Your facility has now been successfully deleted.
