Creating a Course in Kenko

Courses in Kenko are structured programs that run for a defined period, such as workshops, teacher training programs, or multi-week Pilates courses. They are ideal for offerings with a set start and end date, including multiple sessions that customers enroll in all at once.

Steps to Create a Course

  1. Navigate to Setup: Begin by heading to the Setup section in Kenko.

  2. Select Courses: Click on the Courses option.

  3. Create Course: Choose the Create Course option to start setting up your course.

Course Settings

  • Course Group: Organize your courses under sections or categories, such as workshops, teacher training, or special programs. You can create a new group or select from pre-created groups.

  • Course Name: Enter the name of your course. For example, "Introduction to Pilates."

  • Category: Assign a category to help organize your services for easy filtering. Categories can be created under General Settings.

  • Upload Image: Add a photo that visually represents the course to attract customers browsing online.

  • Description: Provide key details about the course, including what it covers, who it's for, and what participants can expect.

  • Course Size: Set the maximum number of participants based on the instructor's capacity and available space or equipment.

  • Facility: Choose the location where the course will take place, such as a specific room.

  • Instructors: Assign one or more instructors to lead the sessions.

  • Start Date and End Date: Define the course's start and end dates. All sessions will occur within this range.

  • Visible to Customers: Toggle this option on if you want the course to be visible and purchasable on your website or app.

  • Color: Pick a color for the course on your CRM calendar for easy identification among other events.

Scheduling and Pricing

Click Next to update the schedule:

  • Set how often your course sessions repeat, such as weekly or bi-weekly.

  • Choose specific days and time slots for the sessions. For example, every weekend at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

  • Use the "Apply to All" feature to copy the schedule across all selected days.

Next, update the pricing:

  • Use Quick Pay for customers to pay a one-time amount to enroll in the course.

Once satisfied with the setup, click Create Course. Congratulations, you've successfully created a course in Kenko!
