Customizing Gender and Pronoun Options for Customer Profiles

When customers create or update their profiles on your app or website, offering them the option to select their gender and preferred pronouns can enhance their experience. Kenko provides the flexibility to fully customize these options for your users.

Steps to Enable Gender and Pronoun Options

  1. Access General Settings:

    Navigate to the General Settings section of your app or website.

  2. Go to Customers:

    Within General Settings, locate and select the Customers section.

  3. Configure Gender Options:

    In the Gender Options section, use the drop-down menu to choose which gender options should be available for your customers. The available options include:

    • Male

    • Female

    • Non-Binary

    • Transgender

    • Intersex

    • Let Me Type (allows customers to type their own gender freely)

  4. Enable Pronouns:

    In the Pronouns section, enable the option if you want customers to add their preferred pronouns when creating or editing their profile.

  5. Update Settings:

    Once these settings are updated, your customers will see the corresponding fields on their profile, both in the app and on the website.
