Pausing a credit pack temporarily freezes its validity, ensuring customers don't lose access to the credits they've already purchased. This feature is beneficial in various situations, such as:
When someone is traveling or unable to attend for a few weeks.
If someone cannot participate due to health reasons.
When your studio or the customer takes time off for holidays or summer breaks.
Offering the option to pause builds goodwill and helps reduce refund requests or dissatisfaction. Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can pause a customer's credit pack on Kenko:
Open the Customer's Profile: Start by accessing the customer's profile on Kenko.
Navigate to the Credit Pack Section: Scroll down to find the credit pack section.
Select the Credit Pack: Click on the three dots next to the credit pack you wish to pause.
Choose to Pause: Click on "Pause". A pop-up will appear with two options:
Pause the pack today.
Schedule a pause for a future date.
Set the Pause Dates: If scheduling, select the start and end dates for the pause.
Confirm the Pause: Once you've updated the dates, click on "Pause".
Verify Pause Status: If you scheduled a future pause, you will see "Pause Scheduled" against the pack.
Adjust Pause Settings: To change settings, click the three dots again and select "Resume". Then, remove the pause if needed.
Re-Pause with Updated Dates: If necessary, pause the pack again with updated dates, starting today.
Once the credit pack is paused, the system automatically updates the end date to account for the pause days. For instance, if a pack is paused on a future date, the expiry date is extended by one month. Note that while the pack is paused, customers won't be able to use their credits.
