Editing a One-Off Class, Appointment, or Course Session

Editing a one-off class, appointment, or course session gives you the flexibility to handle exceptions without changing the entire recurring schedule or overall setup. Here's why this is useful:

• Adjust for Holidays or Special Events: Modify or reschedule a class when your studio is closed or hosting an event.

• Test Variations: Try a different instructor, time, or class size for one session to see what works best before updating everything.

• Keep Your Schedule Consistent: When you only need to tweak one date, editing a single session ensures the rest of your recurring schedule stays intact.

How to Make One-Off Edits

1. From the calendar, click on the event you want to update. Let's take a class as an example.

2. Once the class details open, click Edit Class.

3. Here, you can make all necessary updates for just this one session:

   • Edit the name or description.

   • Change the facility if the original one is unavailable.

   • Update the instructors or add a substitute by clicking Add Substitute and selecting from the drop-down. You can add substitutes for both classes and courses in this manner.

   • Adjust the date, start time, or end time if the session needs to be rescheduled.

   • Change the class size, whether you have fewer or additional spots available.

   • Adjust visibility to hide it from customers on the website or app if needed.

   • Update the calendar color for easier staff reference.

4. Once you're happy with the changes, click Update Event.

5. You'll see the revised session appear on your calendar.

You can follow the exact same steps for appointments or courses. Just select the event you want to edit, whether it's a course or appointment. You'll see similar options available.
